On behalf of our client, an established  national addiction service, Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications from Registered Nurses with experience of working in this sector.

Our client provides direct services to people who use drugs in the Dublin and Mid-West Regions of Ireland and also play an active role in drug policy, advocating for policy choices which will improve the lives of people who use their services.

The successful candidate will report to the CNM2 on duty and will play a key role in the effective delivery of services to people who are actively involved with, or affected by, problem substance use.

This is a permanent role working Monday-Friday with duties extending to health assessments, health care plans and crisis interventions.

To be considered for the role, the following criteria apply:

• Registered as a registered general or mental health nurse with the NMBI
• Evidence of Continuing professional development
• Minimum of one year’s post registration experience is essential
• Experience in drug and alcohol, mental health or emergency nursing is essential and preferably for 2 years+
• Previous practice experience desireable
• Evidence of an understanding of the health issues related with drug and alcohol use
• Strong communicator
• Permission to work in Ireland
